REMOTE (travel limited to Team Quarterly Meetings)  

Position open to anywhere is the United States

Salary Range: minimum $57,600 - maximum $65,000+ plus depending on experience and participation in the Bonus Program. ~80+K OTE expectation. 

As a Sales Development Representative (Supply Chain), you will be at the forefront of our demand generation initiatives. Your role is pivotal in generating top of funnel pipeline and new business opportunities for our Regional Sales Directors, while supporting supply chain as a service team through various stages sales cycles.

 Primary Responsibilities:

·       Actively engage with prospects/leads, understanding their needs and pain points.  Review with Sr. Leadership to identify the capability of supporting the business requirements.   Conduct outbound prospecting to generate and qualify leads through various channels, including phone calls, emails, conferences, and trade shows.

·       Keep abreast of industry trends, competitors, and market changes to provide insightful materials during client interactions.

.       Works with established operational dashboard and scorecard for customer KPI’s and works within regional operations to drive process improvement through lean methodology practices bridging operational requirements to customer requirements. 

 ·       Provide support to Regional Vice President for market engagement identifying new business and expansion of current ODP customers. Working with operations Sr Leadership to market storage capacity capability within the region.  Provide essential input, research, and content support throughout the sales process through collaborating with key stakeholders including operations, Sales, Marketing, and Finance, to ensure alignment and successful execution of performance initiatives.

·       Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system, ensuring all communication is properly documented

Education and Experience:

• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets

• Basic understanding of the domestic freight market and supply chain.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Self-starter with a “hunter” mentality

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software and LinkedIn SalesNavigator

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
