Please note to be considered for this opportunity you MUST have B2B product management experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry or with an organization that produces physical product.

 

The Associate Product Manager role is a key position in supporting the development and implementation of product strategies within The ODP Corporation. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of product management and be eager to contribute to the company's growth. Responsibilities include working closely with the product manager to develop and communicate product strategies, analyzing product assortments to identify gaps and opportunities, conducting market research to inform product roadmap development, managing the end-to-end product lifecycle, staying updated on industry trends and competitors, tracking key performance indicators, and handling day-to-day merchandising activities. Overall, the Associate Product Manager will play an essential role in driving the success of the company's products and contribute to product strategy and innovation efforts.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Works alongside the product manager to develop and communicate product strategies that drive growth. Will analyze product assortments to identify gaps and address opportunities.
  • Assist in conducting market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product strategy and roadmap development.
  • Assist in managing the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring successful execution and delivery of products on time and within budget.
  • Assist in tracking and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, track performance, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manages day to day merchandising activities: vendor set-up and maintenance, new item set-up and discontinuations, day to day vendor communications, reporting.
  • Handle other product-related tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Product Manager or senior leadership.

 

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Econ or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in B2B Product Management or related field
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to use computers and technology for information, and to access information necessary to complete the job.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for continual learning
  • Independent and self-motivated

 

*Remote: While this position does not currently require relocation, candidates within a radius of our physical locations, including, but not be limited to Boca Raton, Itasca, and Austin, will be required to work in the office a minimum of two days a week beginning in September 2024.
