Responsibilities

The Inside Sales-Furniture Representative is a dynamic position supporting both internal and external customers in a consultative selling role. The Inside Sales Rep-Furniture will build and cultivate customer relationships, grow new business, manage, and grow assigned account base, revenue, and margin as it relates to furniture. This will occur by strengthening the business relationship and maximizing penetration opportunities by providing furniture solutions to the customer via telephone.

The Inside Sales-Furniture Representative will have a goal based on historical performance with an incremental growth adjustment.

 

Qualifications

 • High school diploma or equivalent work experience (AA or BA in Interior Design preferred)

 • Minimum 3 years of experience in related field (Commercial design and contract selling background preferred) 

 

Other Information

 • Organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize activities, determine the right tactics, and select appropriate product solutions.

 • Ability to act or complete tasks without prompting and effectively communicate the results or actions taken to internal or external customers in a timely manner.

 • Must be able to maintain constructive relationships when faced with difficult internal and external customers and under time constraints.

 • Must remain flexible and open to change due to changing internal processes, multiple projects, and varying customer demands while preventing issues/distractions from interfering with work deadlines or deliverables.

 • Ability to read architectural blueprints/drawings and understand furniture layout or space planning.

 • Ability to uncover and qualify business opportunities through telephone prospecting activities.

 • Analytical and problem-solving skills

 • Interpersonal, presentation, and negotiating skills

 • Written and verbal communication skills.

 • Professional selling skills, business acumen

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule: The salary range for this role is $21.85/hour to $34.14/hour, however all state and local minimum wages will be complied with, resulting in a possible adjustment to the salary range displayed.
