Overview

The Senior Manager, Veyer Client Onboarding is responsible for leading the client onboarding function ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new clients and successfully implementing logistics/fulfillment solutions tailored to their needs. This role involves partnering with the sales team and coordinating with other internal teams, managing timelines, and ensuring all systems, processes, and tools are set up to ensure a seamless client transition. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of 3PL operations.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Client Onboarding:
    • Gather and analyze client requirements to ensure successful implementation of fulfilment solutions.
    • Develop and execute onboarding plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
    • Serve as an escalation point for complex onboarding issues ensuring prompt resolution and satisfaction
  • Implementation Coordination:
    • Collaborate with internal teams (IT, Operations, Customer Success, etc.) to ensure systems and processes are aligned with client needs.
    • Facilitate the setup of transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and other tools.
    • Ensure proper integration of client data into company systems and resolve any technical issues.
  • Training and Support:
    • Provide training to clients on using logistics systems and tools.
    • Act as a resource for clients during the transition period, addressing questions and concerns promptly.
    • Monitor client operations post-implementation to ensure smooth workflows and identify areas for improvement.
  • Project Management:
    • Track and report on onboarding progress, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are completed.
    • Identify risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges.
    • Maintain detailed documentation of onboarding processes and client-specific requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Gather client feedback and collaborate with internal teams to improve onboarding processes.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance the client experience.
  • Team Management
    • Lead, mentor and develop a high- performing team fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and accountability

 

Education and Experience:

  • Level of Formal Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Area of Study: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Years of Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in related field
  • Type of Experience:
    • Experience in onboarding, implementation, or project management within a 3PL or logistics environment.
    • Strong understanding of transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and supply chain operations
    • Previous experience in a leadership role

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule: The salary range for this role is $82,900/year to $137,650/year, however all state and local minimum wages will be complied with, resulting in a possible adjustment to the salary range displayed.
